Breathing in

OK, so once again I’ve failed at keeping this site updated. Once I started my 365, that pretty much took all my creative juices and I let this go to seed. But I’m sure excuses aren’t that interesting to read, so instead I’ll find something else to ramble on about.

A lot of little things have happened since I wrote last, but nothing terribly huge or revolutionary. Since the summer I have gone to Vancouver for a wonderful week-long vacation, my passion for photography has engulfed me and I had a chance to assist a wedding photographer (check her out: Barebone Photo), and I bought a Macbook (finally). Yup, I think those are the highlights of my last few months. Oh, and I’m unbelievably happy. I continually think about where I was last year at this time, and the years before that even, and I am so thankful that I am where I am now. Life is good.

I suppose the most obvious highlight so far, something that I touched on already, is that I think I’ve actually found my passion in life. I’m not sure if it was a sudden realization or it was something that came to me over time, or perhaps it was both to varying degrees? But I just know that photography is it. That is what fills my thoughts these days, over these past few months. It’s what makes me happy when I dream about it. It’s encompassing and a little distracting, but feels so very rewarding. It’s taking over and I need to feed it :) I’m excited to see where it will take me, because I plan on giving in, I plan on giving this addiction whatever it wants. Is that foolish? Somehow I just don’t care… I guess that’s somewhat huge and revolutionary.. in my little corner anyways. 

Anyways, I’m pretty sure the only people who will see this blog, the only ones who probably haven’t given up on it, are my parents. So, hey guys! I just talked to you tonight and nothing has happened since then :) See you soon!
